Gardaí and Emergency Services were called to the scene of a car on fire near to Tubbercurry yesterday evening.
The incident took place on the R294 Ballina Road coming out of Tubbercurry in the Drimina townland.
The fire was extinguished by members of the fire service, and the scene was soon fully cleared.
No offences were disclosed and it is understood that nobody received any serious injuries.
