Members of the National Advocacy Service are staging a protest at the Taoiseach’s constituency office in Wicklow today.

The service – which supports adults with disabilities across Ireland – is on hold for a second week, in a strike over implementation of a Labour Court recommendation on pay and conditions.

Sligo/Leitrim TD Marian Harkin says she’s appalled at how staff have been treated, and she’s calling on Simon Harris to urgently intervene.
